REVIEW: the album cafe (Photoshop template vendor)

OK, Nicole pulled a fast one yesterday (see article HERE) and introduced you to a vendor before I could, so I’m going to follow-up with a full-fledged review.

In a nutshell, these folks are the BOMB! Seriously. If you have some extra $$ to spend on Photoshop templates – spend it here. (These folks don’t know I’m reviewing them and I don’t get a cent for sending you there. I own most of their templates and just love their products and customer service!).

I’m not going to make a  practice of endorsing vendors who sell stuff that you don’t HAVE to have, but I’m going to make an exception here. There are a lot of Photoshop template vendors out there and many of them are very good. I’ve been buying templates for about 5 years now and often I will just design my own. I never found a vendor that I felt strongly enough to declare my loyalty to until I found the album cafe.

There are templates available for wedding albums, engagement books, senior session books, business cards, birth announcements, greeting cards, Facebook profile templates, etc etc etc.

You really just need to try them out – and since they have a section for FREE ACTIONS and FREE TEMPLATES, you can try before you buy!

Album and card designers will be ecstaticic to learn that the album cafe has arranged two unbranded websites with examples of products designed with their templates. Now you can send clients to the unbranded sites to peruse the template options and decide what kind of design they would like:

UNBRANDED CARD SITE

Photoshop Elements users will be happy to note that the templates can be used in their program using the special instructions found HERE.

The quality of the products is top-notch, the customer service is stellar and now for the clincher – these products are affordable. Every once in awhile, they have a blow out 40% off sale and sometimes you can find a 20% off sale. I take these opportunities to stock up.

While I’m overloading the article with links, fan them on FACEBOOK and follow them on TWITTER.

I give the album cafe FIVE Wootness!™ points!
